On days like today I just try to pay attention to what I eat and squeeze in a 30min cardio session - nothing like sitting in one spot all day studying to slow your metabolism!

Hi - meet David. David is a one of a kind, out of this world, amazing example of a man. I truly adore his down to earth perspective, his unending patience, and his care free take on life. Without Dave I would have no root to the ground, he is my anchor and my home. My favorite things: his ability to make me smile no matter what, his refusal to fight with me, his knack for always knowing just what I need, his inability to act like everything's fine, his persistence, his loyalty, his intelligence... should I keep going?

Want to know the best thing about him? He's mine! Sorry ladies, as of June 7, 2015 he will be all mine forever and more, can you say lucky?

A Monday night deviation to one of the best meals of our lives: Blackbird/Chicago, IL. Unplanned but much welcomed, we rounded the corner to an empty booth for 2 at this Michelin star restaurant. The sweet atmosphere and delicious food made everything from the snowfall to the cocktails full of decadence.

On the menu: cold butter rum cocktail, scallop amuse bouche, beef tartare, toasted pierogi,

striploin, venison, gooey rum cake, milk and cookies, and a mini dessert tasting.

 

    

And of course - my sweet man has all the credit for showering me in surprises like this...
